Drew Weatherford: Co-Chair for Legends For Charity Dinner
The Legends for Charity® Dinner, a national annual event held during Super Bowl weekend where the The Pat Summerall Award is presented to a deserving national broadcaster, is honored to announce that Drew and Morgan Weatherford will serve as the local Co-Chairs of the dinner for the upcoming event that was originally scheduled to take place during Super Bowl LV weekend, but has now been rescheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Tampa. Drew, a local entrepreneur and one of the founding partners of Weatherford Capital and his wife Morgan bring to the committee the leadership, love of the Tampa Bay community and passion for the life saving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.
Erin Andrews, Entrepreneur & Television Host and FOX Sports Broadcaster will be celebrated at the dinner in May as she will become the first female recipient of this coveted award the following February in Los Angeles during Super Bowl LVI.
Legends for Charity since its inception more than fifteen years ago, has become a cornerstone event during the biggest weekend in professional sports earning eight national Telly Awards. Raising close to $8 million since 2006, it has opened the world of sports broadcasters to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. It was created in 2005 and is produced by Cheryl DeLeonardis of Ocean 2 Ocean Productions.
