Sam Weatherford

Sam Weatherford is a Partner at Weatherford Capital. He is primarily responsible for portfolio management, investment analysis, and transaction execution.

He has over 15 years of direct private equity investment experience, having led the execution of over 40 direct investments across the US, Asia, Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe. Prior to Weatherford Capital, Sam was a founding member of Schulze Global Investments, a private investment firm focused on the world’s most dynamic frontier markets -- acquired by Cerberus Capital Management and renamed Cerberus Frontier in 2018. In addition to being an avid world traveler, his investment career has led him to live in China and Ethiopia, developing a high level of proficiency in Chinese.

Sam serves on the boards of several companies and organizations including CloudFactory, The Gathering, Reformadas, and Sinapis.

A graduate of Fordham University, Sam is married to Salime; they reside in Dallas, Texas with their three children.
